The hotel was perfect for our one night stay. Be mindful of the El Royale rooms. When they say two or three travelers, no matter what you get one bed but it’s a very large bed if you don’t mind three people in one bed. Perfect for a couple traveling with a younger child. Not perfect if you are traveling with a teenager. They were able to accommodate us at the El Royale Gardens, which is on the other side of this facility with spacious and clean rooms and two queen beds. The room had two closets, a large bathroom, a medium size fridge, blow dryer, and a microwave and coffee machine. The parking is right next to the rooms that you are in so that is the best part if you are worried about the area. Walking distance to Universal. Booked with credit cards but For some reason any upgrades needed to be made with cash.

Exactly as pleasant as other reviews say! This is a great little hideaway with cute, simple, bungalow-style rooms. Very clean, simply but nicely appointed, updated bathrooms, clearly a very gracious operation; easy to park to Lyft to Universal Studios or Hollywood... A nice little hideaway that will definitely be my go-to anytime I visit the Studio City area. And yes, Xavier is exceptional!

What a great little hotel! We have stayed in the USA for 2 weeks in about 5 hotels and this was by far the best bed, so soft and the pillows were perfect! Looks newly renovated. Everything was clean, water pressure and aircon works great. The room was on the smaller side but 2 people were still comfortable. So close to universal! Reception was friendly and quick. Everything we needed.

The El Royale is a gem! Stayed here with my sister for one night to go to Universal Studios. It’s right down the road, a 15 minute walk or a five minute inexpensive (about $10) Uber/Lyft. Our room was spacious and clean. The beds were actually queen sized, not full sized. And the staff is so friendly!

The staff was very friendly. They let us check in early. Location was excellent! 5 min drive to Universal Studios without having to get on the freeway. Rooms were very clean and cozy. Ours had a private garage. The property was secure, quiet and comfortable. We will definitely be regulars here!

Cute little updated motels that are side-by-side. I stayed at the El Royale Gardens Hotel section as it doesnÂ¿t have a gate that closes each night and you can come and go. It was clean and quiet, had comfortable bed, and was walking distance to Univers
